about praxMatrix

the starting point ...

You arrive at an airport and go out to the taxi rank to get a taxi into the city. You say to the taxi drive, "Tell me something about the engine driving this car - is it going to get us there?". The taxi driver says, "Where do you want to go?". You reply, "What about the fuel you're using and the the GPS System - they good. Will they get us there?". The taxi driver asks again, "Where would you like to go?" Of course, you are asking the wrong questions for the essential service the taxi driver is supplying which is to get you to your destination without you having to think about or worry about technical and mechanical issues. What you really need to know and convey is where you want to go.

Developing a strategy for digital media communication is the same. The first question is 'Where do you I want to go?' - What are the goals of my digital media strategy? What am I trying to achieve or communicate or improve in terms of my business processes? Start by developing a clear idea of what your expected or desired outcomes are.

From that point, praxMatrix will help you develop the 'vehicle' to get you there. That involves helping you clarify your initial vision and objectives and setting them within the context of your organization's capacity and capability in terms of delivering and maintaining a digital media strategy.

praxMatrix will identify the digital platforms and methodologies for content development, delivery, storage and security that are best suited to driving your strategy toward reaching your objectives. This is not technology for technologies sake which is often the case where no strategy is planned and where technology 'buzz' words give rise to the implementation of new technologies on a random and haphazard basis. This is the implementation of the 'right' technology to get you there without you having to worry about how it all works 'under the bonnet' (although if you'd like to know about that we're happy to tell you!).
